Our agriculture and livelihood development initiatives are designed to improve the economic resilience of rural communities by promoting sustainable farming practices and creating diverse livelihood opportunities. We provide training to farmers in organic farming, crop diversification, and modern agricultural techniques, which not only boosts agricultural productivity but also contributes to long-term economic growth.

• Promoting Agriculture-Based Livelihoods: We focus on organic farming, crop diversification, and sustainable agricultural practices that improve farm productivity, income, and long-term sustainability for farmers.
• Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs): We facilitate the creation and capacity building of FPOs, enabling farmers to collectively market and sell their organic products. These organizations help farmers access larger markets, ensuring better prices and fostering collaborative growth.
• Livestock and Dairy Farming: Our initiatives also promote income generation through goat farming, dairy development, and animal husbandry. We provide training in livestock health management, vaccination, and veterinary support, improving animal welfare and farm productivity.
• Fisheries and Allied Activities: We support fish farming and integrated aquaculture systems as alternative livelihoods for farmers. These efforts enhance income while promoting environmental sustainability.

2. Skill Development and Technical Training

Our skill development programs are aimed at empowering rural communities by offering vocational training in both farm-based and non-farm livelihoods. We train individuals in organic farming, goat rearing, dairy management, poultry farming, and vermicomposting, enhancing agricultural productivity. Additionally, we offer training in solar product assembly, computer literacy, mobile repairing, tailoring, and handicraft production, broadening employment opportunities and diversifying income sources.

3. Health and Nutrition Initiatives

We focus on improving the health and well-being of rural communities, especially women and children, by promoting health awareness and providing essential health services. Our programs include health education, nutrition awareness, and preventive healthcare initiatives to reduce malnutrition and improve overall health outcomes. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we supported communities by organizing health camps and distributing supplies to ensure healthcare access and mitigate the crisis.

4. Market Linkages

Our market linkage initiatives aim to increase the financial stability of rural communities by providing access to wider markets and fair pricing for their products. We create direct market linkages for farmers to sell their organic produce, livestock products, and dairy items, ensuring competitive prices and improved incomes. By forming FPOs, we connect producers to larger markets, ensuring sustainable economic growth and enhancing livelihoods.

5. Environmental Conservation

We promote sustainable environmental practices, including organic farming and the use of renewable energy solutions to reduce the environmental impact of agriculture. In collaboration with SAIL (Steel Authority of India Limited), we have implemented environmental awareness projects and tree plantation initiatives aimed at enhancing community engagement in environmental protection, increasing green cover, and promoting ecological sustainability.
